Jones Soda Infused Cannabis Drinks Review

Who doesn’t like a good soda pop once in a while, and what if I told you that this soda pop can get you high? Well, if that sounds good to you, let me introduce you to M*ry Jones. From the world-famous Jones Soda Co. comes the infused variants of some of their flavors. Leading off, we have MF Grape, Berry Lemonade, and Green Apple.

What makes it special?

We finally have a famous soda brand dipping their feet into the infused arena with Jones Soda Co. If you want something that will lift your spirits as well as taste just like the famous Jones’ soda, then these cans will be your new favorite. Welcome to the party, Jones Soda. Thanks for bringing your wonderful brand of tasty treats to the world of legal cannabis in Canada.

Aromatic and Visual Profile:

Having had the opportunity to try out the Green Apple flavor, I can attest that it tastes just like the soda, with no weedy taste or aftertaste—just straight soda goodness. As with all Jones’ sodas, visually it comes in a cornucopia of colors, with the satisfying fizz of a properly carbonated drink. I find it also lacks some of the perfumy flavor that some brands use to mask the taste of the weed; Jones does not have that in the slightest. If you gave it to someone without telling them it’s infused, I bet they couldn’t even tell the difference!

Effects:

While I cannot personally attest to what the effects are like, as my tolerance is too high for 10mg of THC to affect me, like most ingestibles, it could potentially take at least an hour for the effects to kick in. But once they do, you should feel a full-body buzz that most edibles provide.

How much does it cost?

At $7.95 a can, it isn’t going to break the bank. Comparatively, a can of XMG is $6.95, so it falls within the acceptable range when it comes to the cost of a can. Personally, I would pay the extra dollar to get the Jones’ soda to avoid that perfumy smell and taste that other brands might use to mask the flavor and smell. There’s no option to buy a multipack, so it can get expensive if your tolerance is high. But if you enjoy edibles on a regular basis and get good effects from them, then this is a treat you do not want to pass up.
